In Yomawari Night Alone, the unnamed protagonist (I’m just gonna call her Protagonist from now since that’s what the Wiki calls her. Story and characters – 3/10(Night Alone), 6.5/10(Midnight Shadow) – Dog is humanity’s best friend Whatever it is, they’re all very creatively designed. Maybe it’s a little toddler that’s afraid of flashlight, maybe it’s a feral dog that responds to sounds, or a giant ghost chasing you with massive scissors. They all look varied and you can identify them with a single glance and immediately think of a way to deal with them. They also did a really amazing job on designing the monsters.
